This is a despicable scam preying on those who are most vulnerable. I was initially lured in by these individuals who claimed I was due to receive £2000 in my account, with an assurance that I would repay £901 a month for that sum. They insisted I obtain Ukash vouchers to complete the loan process, so I scraped together £100 for the voucher. After that, they called me back and asked for the voucher number, all the while promising my funds would be in my bank in thirty minutes. When I realised it was a ruse, I rang the police and reported it to Ukash, and my bank’s fraud team has now taken over the investigation. It’s utterly infuriating and disheartening.
