Got a call from some man with an Asian accent saying he was from British Gas. I told him straight up I wasn't interested and cut him dead, but he just wouldn’t quit calling. In the end, I had to just hang up on him because I don’t even have a British Gas account! Proper annoying.

Got a phone call from a guy who had an Asian accent saying he was from British Gas. He wanted to talk to the owner about renewing an electricity contract, but we don’t even have any contract due for renewal. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a call from an Indian lady on a 0208 number, name showed as Stuart Hamilton. She started talking about electricity stuff, but I just told her I run on a generator. After that, she just hung up on me. Proper scam, these lot are a pain in the neck, just faffing around. I've blocked the number now, no time for their nonsense.

I got a call from 02032905901, they started off by asking about my energy provider, then proceeded to try and guess who I was with. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got called by some Asian scammer three times today, saying they were from E.On about a renewal. The minute they started wanting my personal details, I told them to send me something in writing instead and hung up. They rang me back twice right away, and on the last one I just told them to piss off and blocked them.

Got a call from a guy who sounded Asian, saying it was regarding my eon renewal. When I asked for his contact number, he wanted to know why I needed it. I told him it was just to check he was legit and he gave me the number 02081446266. Then I requested his address, and once again he asked why I wanted it. I explained it was to confirm his identity, and right after that, he just ended the call!

When I asked him flat out if he was really from E-ON, he said maybe I’d got it wrong and his name was Ian. Felt fishy to me, probably a scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were from e.on about renewing our electricity deal, but we don’t even use e.on. When he asked who our energy supplier was, I just said I wasn’t going to share that info. Feels like a total scam to me.

I get a call nearly every month from someone claiming to be our gas or electric provider, sometimes they'll say it's EDF, other times Eon or British Gas. They keep telling me the contract is about to expire. When I say they’re not our supplier, they try to find out who is. I just say that’s personal and they usually just cut off. It happens all the time!

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who sounded quite polite. He said he was from Eon and that my contract was coming to an end. He asked for my account info, but when I questioned him about why my contract was supposedly ending, he just cut the call. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me, said he was calling from British Gas. I asked him to give me the last four digits of my account since I had it right in front of me, but he got them wrong. Then he tried to back it up by telling me my business address, but I told him anyone can look that up online. After that, he went on to ask who supplies my electricity. At that point, I just ended the call.

This company is honestly the worst with their calls! I've never signed up for anything with them and never plan to, but they keep ringing nonstop. Every time I get a call, I tell them I'm not interested and ask them to take me off their list, but no luck. Just this week, I’ve had about 9 voicemails from them, even tho I’ve blocked their number because it was driving me mad. So frustrating!

This number showed up on my missed calls and I usually ignore unfamiliar digits, but every now and then I take a chance just in case it’s something urgent. It’s crazy how many folks still answer calls without caller ID, probably scared of missing something important.
