It's clearly a scam!5 yearsI had a call from a young lady earlier; she messaged my phone but wouldn't provide her identification number-just mentioned something about 2020. She was trying to entice me with a 30% discount on my O2 mobile bill, but got all secretive, insisting I mustn’t share this with anyone, especially those who handle my contract. I found it all a bit dodgy, so I ended the call. Since then, she’s tried to ring me four times more! Clearly, this is a scam!5 yearsI’ve just had a similar experience! When I inquired how I could be certain it wasn’t a scam, all she replied with was a simple “no.” Absolutely a dodgy operation, if you ask me! 😂5 yearsI received a call claiming to be from 02, informing me they were offering a 30% discount on my bills due to Covid-19. Strangely, they hadn't completed any Data Protection Act procedures and didn’t ask for my bank details. Instead, they said they would send me a text (which I'm yet to see) and insisted I confirm its receipt. When I suggested I could just handle it through the app, they were very insistent that I had to acknowledge the text. At that point, I decided to end the call.
