The scammers may attempt to appear trustworthy by mentioning recent loan or bank details, but they become evasive or aggressive when questioned. Pretty sure it was a scam... at the start I kinda believed them since they knew some of my old info. But once I started asking about how things worked or wanted to speak to someone higher up, they got all nervous and just ended the call. Watch out and don't fall for this trick.

*****BE CAREFUL***** SCAM ALERT*****
This number belongs to a dodgy company pretending to be PPIClaimline Ltd, offering fake PPI claims.
They’ll tell you to buy Paysafecard vouchers as part of a big payout they say they’ve sorted for you, but it’s all a con. DON'T FALL FOR IT. Stay safe and don’t let these scammers rip you off.....

Just had a call from someone claiming to be Paul Simon. If only I'd come across this earlier before I bought those paysafe cards! Took me a moment to realise when he started asking for the PIN number. Now I've gotta figure out how to get my money back on those cards. At least it’s better than losing the cash outright.

Watch out, this is definitely a scam! There's a dodgy outfit pretending to be well-known Claims Management Companies, trying to get people to buy paysafe cards. Sometimes they'll also mention Western Union or UCash. They somehow seem to have a lot of info about your bank and your previous loan dates. They'll promise to send you a cheque that they claim will clear, but then they’ll ask for the PIN from your paysafe voucher to ‘confirm’ your purchase or some excuse like that. Once you give them the PIN, that cash is gone for good. Please don’t hand over your money to these scammers. Check online for the official company contact details and ring them directly. Legit firms don’t ask for payment upfront and always invoice after everything’s sorted with the bank. Also, a Claims Management Company can’t act for you without a valid authority letter signed within the last six months. Stay safe!

It’s pretty worrying how they knew such accurate details about me. I’m honestly not sure where exactly they’re getting all that from.

I got a call from a bloke named David who said he had close to £4,000 for me. The weird bit is, he knew loads about me and the whole PPI thing, even my address, which he remembered spot on. Totally strange, really.

So I’ve been chatting with this bloke called Paul Simon recently, and honestly, it didn’t seem right from the start but it took me quite some time to realise something was off. They’re pretty slick, I’ll give them that, but not invincible. Right now, I’m flipping the script and firing back at them with this message.

I’ve been getting calls off them for weeks now. I told them I’d sort payment as soon as the cash hits my account, but they keep on threatening to send the money back. Honestly, they seem pretty useless at handling things.

Some bloke rang me up pretending he was from a PPI firm, said I had to pay a fee upfront before getting any money back. I wasn’t falling for it, but I bet some folks get duped by that sort of trick.
