Like others here, I got a call from a firm pretending to be BT. When I asked for a number to ring back, they didn’t provide one. It's definitely a scam where they try to get into your computer and steal private stuff like passwords and bank info. Be careful, they’re just trying to trick you.

Someone said they were from BT and asked if they could take over my router.

A woman with a foreign accent called me, claiming to be from BT and said someone was misusing my internet. I told her I’m not a BT customer. She kept insisting I had to enter a password or something. I asked for her contact number, said I’d call back - but never got round to it. Feels like a scam to me.
