I received a rather suspicious call that apparently originated from Microsoft in London, claiming there was a cybercrime issue linked to my computer. The chap on the other end was appallingly rude and aggressive. I decided to hang up and switch my phone. Before I could even gather my thoughts, another call came through from 00312840074177. To my astonishment, this caller was even more aggressive than the last! It felt like they were fishing for access to my computer or my banking details, as he kept insisting that a transaction attempt had been made using my credit card.
