Received a call purporting to be from Microsoft support, where the caller, who identified himself as Michael Adams, attempted to convince me to make a card payment under the guise of "repairing" a supposed virus on my machine. He even provided an identification number, MIC1005. How dodgy!

Received a dodgy phone call claiming to be from Microsoft support following a suspicious virus outbreak on my laptop. The chap on the other end, who identified himself as Michael Adams, had quite an Indian accent. He had the audacity to provide a made-up employee ID too! The whole ruse involved relentless pop-up messages directing me to ring a number for assistance. In the end, he was only after my bank card details to allegedly resolve the virus issue. Quite the scam!

Absolute scam! They've managed to infiltrate my mother-in-law's computer and tricked her into disclosing her credit card details and driving licence. It's outrageous!

I’ve had a rather dubious experience with someone claiming to be Microsoft support. They were insisting I provide them with my credit card information and even my passport details so they could fix a supposedly corrupt computer. It all felt quite shady, I must say!
