I received a call from 02081442103, purporting to be from O2. It had all the hallmarks of a scam. I ended the call and tried ringing back, only to find that the number didn’t exist. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Got a ring from this London number out of the blue. Didn’t pick up since I’m about 120 miles away and have no ties to London whatsoever. Feels like it might be a dodgy call or just some sales pitch for stuff I’m not interested in.

I would advise against engaging with this number regarding loans. They entertained the idea of lending me £1,000, but after I coughed up £200 initially, they found great amusement in my situation and abruptly terminated the call when I attempted to reach out again. The line had been cut off entirely. It's evidently a scam, so I urge you-do not fall for the trap I encountered. These individuals are certainly up to no good!

I received a call from this number, and they were proposing a loan of £5000 to be repaid at a rate of £145 each month for a period of four years. Strangely, they insisted I fork out £145 upfront to secure a voucher as proof for the British Council, demonstrating my ability to manage the repayment. Quite fishy in my opinion!

Received a call pitching a £500 loan, payable over a year with monthly instalments of £60.

Received a call from a number I didn't recognise, claiming they could lend me £2,400, which I'd repay at a rate of £120 a month. In all, that would mean I'd pay back just £2,280 over a span of two years! But here’s the kicker-they want me to stump up £120 in Ukash vouchers before they'll actually lend me the money! Sounds quite dodgy to me!
