6 yearsSome bloke named Mark rang me pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse, claiming my EE phone contract had ended and offered me a "great deal". He took all my info, then sent the wrong handset, promising to swap it for the correct one if I sent it back. Turns out they were scammers. After that, I got over 100 calls in a day with them being pushy. I rang EE, who confirmed it’s all a scam. They found unauthorised charges on my account and contract changes, plus my bank showed a tiny test payment of 0.1p. Honestly, steer clear of these fraudsters.MarkCarphone WarehouseEE7 yearsDefinitely a scam, just a waste of time.7 yearsPicked up the phone but got sent straight to voicemail, so I just ended the call!7 yearsI answered the call but no one spoke. Pretty sure it was just a spammer. Definitely should be blocked!7 yearsI got a call from someone who spoke very poor English and said his name was James Winston. He already knew my name and the first four numbers on my bank card. He was trying to get the rest of my card info, but I ended the call. Later, I reached out to the Revenue myself and they confirmed it was a scam.James WinstonRevenue7 yearsIt seems that there's a con artist out there using your identification to purchase mobile phones, VB.Submit Your Own Report (020 8144 1895)
