2 yearsI had to block the number after they kept ringing me like six times in a row.2 yearsThis number rings me loads on Monday mornings, but I’ve no clue who it is so I tend not to pick up. I checked it out here before deciding to answer, but I think I’ll just block it going forward.2 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be O2, but as soon as I mentioned I’m not with them, they just hung up on me. Classic scam, I reckon.2 years02081440612 kept ringing me 4 times in a row and I just didn't pick up.2 yearsAround 4.30pm, I got a call from someone claiming to be from O2, telling me I’d get a 50% refund because I pay my bill on time. What really creeped me out was they already knew my name, phone number and even my home address, without me giving them any of that info. They said they’d send me a code the next day so I could claim the “reward”. Honestly, I’ve got no idea what they actually hoped to get from our chat, and I’m not expecting any code. I just wanted to see if there was something they were after that I hadn’t realised. I’ve got zero plans to keep talking to them though.2 yearsSo happy I checked this place out to see if I was right. I picked up the phone and as soon as I caught the word "discount", I shut it down straight away. Then, they rang back but I just let it go to voicemail.2 yearsSo this company rang me claiming they were O2. They had my first name, my phone number and even an old address which seemed a bit suspicious. The person was very polite and friendly, saying I could get a discount on my bill since I’m a “valued customer”. They asked me to verify my last name and the start of my email address, then said they’d send a code supposedly from O2 with a security code. After that, I’d get an email and needed to click a link to accept the deal. Honestly, watch out for this - it sounds dodgy!2 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be from O2, sounded off from the start. When I asked if they were calling from Calcutta, India, the person just went “yeaaah” in a really dodgy way. I didn't hold back and told them exactly what I thought before hanging up. It’s so frustrating when you’re waiting for proper calls and these scammy types keep ringing. Hate it.Calcutta2 yearsGot a call claiming to be from O2 offering a free iPad and a loyalty discount.
