They tried pulling a fast one on me, but I spotted it instantly.

They called me a few times but I couldn't make out what they were chatting about. Picked up bits and bobs, and it seemed like they were pushing some kinda product or service.

Some bloke from London rang me up trying to push some dodgy product, but honestly I couldnt make out half of what he was saying. What a waste of time!

It was clearly a scam call - the bloke claimed he was calling from a phone warehouse but just ended the call when I started asking him questions.

Just to add to what I mentioned earlier... I got a call from this number on my mobile. When I tried to return the call from my landline, it directed me to a voicemail, so I decided to hang up as I was none the wiser about who was trying to reach me. Well, lo and behold, they called me back! It felt like a dodgy phone company fishing for information regarding my mobile provider and contract details. I played along and told them I was off abroad and wouldn't need a mobile anymore. To that, he said goodbye rather promptly... very amusing, really!

Out of curiosity, I tried ringing it back from my landline, but it went straight to answerphone, so I cut the call.
Now, I'm left in the dark about who might have been on the other end.
