According to her, I would soon receive a package through the post that would set me back £3 a week for an entire year, after which I'd enjoy free service indefinitely. Naturally, I expressed my suspicions, asserting that her call seemed duplicitous. To my surprise, she flipped the narrative and accused me of being the scammer while mentioning that Britain had exploited India for years. Feeling a bit taken aback, I offered my condolences for our country’s dubious past and inquired for more clarity on how I was supposedly the villain in this scenario. We ended up chatting for a solid six minutes, which at least meant one less spam call for her to make that day!
