Had a proper hard time making out what this guy was on about. After a bit, I gathered he said he was ringing from “your phone company O2”. Then he asked, “you’re not with O2, right?” and at that exact moment, I went and hung up on him by mistake while trying to turn off my cruise control(!) Anyway, it was obvious he wasn’t really from O2, cos if he was, he’d have known I’m not an O2 customer. So yeah, definitely a scammer and not to be trusted. WATCH OUT!

Somebody called saying they were from O2 and told me I could get a discount. They sent me a couple of texts, one appeared connected to another phone number I’ve been having issues with at O2. They asked for the code in the message even though the text itself said not to share it with anyone, not even O2. It felt really dodgy so I just ended the call. Watch out, this seems like a scam!

Received a call from someone purporting to be from O2, and the conversation took a rather unexpected turn. This character was adamant that I should install WhatsApp on my mobile, and that he’d ring back after midnight for some rather risqué chatter. I could also make out another bloke's voice lurking in the background, which only added to the bizarre nature of the call. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

I told them I already get a discount and wasn’t interested in switching. Then they asked how much I pay for my mobile, and I said I wasn’t sure but surely if they’re from O2 they’d know. They then said they needed to send me a couple of texts before telling me how much I pay and applying the discount, adding I couldn’t do it through the O2 app. I said I didn’t want any discount and they just hung up.
