Got another call from this woman again, asking for someone in facilities. I told her our contracts aren't due for renewal, but she kept pushing about new prices. Explained that we deal through a broker, but didn’t seem to care. She said she’d ring back tomorrow. Honestly, gonna block the number as she didn’t take no for an answer and I’m really not interested. Same lady as before, with a Northern accent. She didn't even mention which energy company she was from. Best to just avoid her, honestly.

Someone rang up asking to talk about accounts concerning an investigation, got transferred only to discover it was actually some energy firm trying to check on my energy contract dates. Total cold call and absolutely not something I wanted. These calls just end up being a nuisance, I'd seriously suggest avoiding them as they seem a bit dodgy and not upfront at all. The woman on the phone had a Northern accent and was pretty forceful with her sales pitch. Just a heads up, keep your guard up and watch out!
