I picked up and this woman just kept repeating "hello" before she suddenly ended the call. I've blocked the number now.

The call felt dodgy right away, seemed like it was coming from abroad. The woman on the line claimed to be from Nationwide, but when I mentioned I was at work and couldn’t really chat, she went over it again super slowly, saying she was from Nationwide. Yeah, definitely smelled like a scam to me.

kept ringing all the time about a car crash, and as soon as i asked them to take me off their list they just ended the call - ended up blocking the number

I picked up but they just stayed silent, no one said anything.

got a ring from this number earlier today, the bloke on the line called me by my name and started rambling about some reason for the call. i told him yes, it’s me, but asked straight up who exactly he was and the company he was with. he just said "oh right" and then cut off the call. no clue what that was about. ended up blocking the number.
