I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, insisting that my subscription had been terminated and questioning whether I’d received an email about it. The thing is, I haven’t cancelled anything at all! Then, out of nowhere, he asked for my email address. That raised all sorts of red flags! I promptly hung up and made sure to block the number.
