So yesterday I got a call from some bloke who said his name was Ryan Harris, gave me the ID SD11420. He was nearly convincing enough, but luckily I spotted what was going on just in time, could’ve lost all my cash otherwise. Seriously, don’t waste a minute chatting to people like him.

Today I got a call from someone who said his name was Ryan Harris and he had an Asian accent. He claimed he was from TalkTalk and said there were problems with my broadband. Then he asked to get into my computer. I said I would call TalkTalk myself to check, then he just hung up on me.

Got a call just after eight this morning from someone saying they were with TalkTalk, saying there were problems with my broadband and they needed access to my PC. I said I’d call them back later but never did. Plan to get in touch with TalkTalk directly to check if the call was legit.

Today, I kept getting calls from someone claiming to be John Matthews with a really thick Asian accent. They said the issue was about my internet and asked me to check my laptop because supposedly there was a problem with my connection. It was a guy from TalkTalk named Tom or something like that, ringing me over and over and telling me to call back straight away. Honestly, don’t fall for this load of rubbish - these are fraudsters trying to trick you!

Today I got a call from someone who used Team Viewer to get into my computer. Things felt off and when I questioned him, he suddenly became quite hostile. At one point, he even wanted me to log into my online banking saying he’d send me £200 from TalkTalk. Luckily, I soon figured out it was a scam before any harm was done. Could’ve lost all my cash if I hadn’t been careful. Watch out for this!

Loads of calls came through from this number saying they were from TalkTalk, asking to get into my computer. They even had some of my details like my address and account info, which made them sound pretty convincing. My husband nearly believed it was legit. I called up TalkTalk myself and they told me it had nothing to do with them at all. Pretty scary stuff, we were close to falling for it!

So, I got a phone call from a guy named Ryan Harris who said he was calling from TalkTalk. I was at my folks’ place at the time and he told me there was some sort of sporadic problem with their broadband. He asked me to hook my laptop up to the internet so he could supposedly fix it remotely. Feeling a bit iffy, I rang TalkTalk myself to check things out, and turns out there was no broadband problem at all and they hadn’t made any calls. Total scam alert, watch out!

Had a call from a lady with an accent, said she was from Talk Talk. She claimed my computer was sending out error warnings and it needed urgent fixing before crashing. She seemed to know my name and number, so I asked her for my Talk Talk account number to prove who she was. That’s when her story started falling apart - of course, she didn’t know it. Told her to stop wasting my time and try finding real work. Definitely a con, watch out!
