Honestly, I’m relieved I’m not one of those rude, clueless people who keep ringing my home! What do they even get out of it? I’m sure their mums and dads must be so chuffed with them now that “they've got a real job”! I’m on the TPS list, so how on earth do they figure it’s okay to keep hassling me with these pointless calls?!

This number kept ringing me, so I finally picked up to tell them to quit dialing my phone. I mentioned that I’m signed up with the TPS, but the caller just wouldn’t hear me out. They kept pushing me to listen to what they had to say. I warned them I'd report the calls if they didn't stop, but here I am still getting calls from them. They were all about some PPI thing.

Got a call from an Asian guy, and when I said the person he was after doesn't live here, he just told me to shut up. They sure have some real clever folks working for them. If they call again, I’m definitely going to find out who they are and report the lot to the management.

My mother-in-law, who lives in Leeds, got a strange call from a woman who somehow knew her name. This lady pretended to be friendly, offering to send medicine and even mentioned a recent surgery, which worried us since mum never told her anything about that. The caller kept calling her Mrs Betty, and my mother-in-law insists she never shared any of her medical details. I’m not sure what this woman wanted, but I’ve gone ahead and installed a call blocker just to be safe.

I usually just let my phone ring and then after it stops I check 1471 to see who tried calling me. If I know the number and feel like chatting I call them back, otherwise I just google the number to see who it might be. If it turns out to be someone I dont want to speak to I just block the number straight away. Its a simple way to avoid random or annoying calls.

This bloke keeps ringing my work, asking for someone who’s never here. I just tell him the person’s out on the floor and that I’ll pass on a message. Usually, he just hangs up. But today, I decided to answer with a cheeky “Hello?” a few times, and he didn’t take too kindly to that. Ended up calling me all sorts of rude names, said some really nasty stuff about my mum, mentioned wanting to buy a dog, and bizarrely, said he was after a pornstar. I told him the signal was rubbish and promised I’d ring him back since I’ve got his number. Left him a couple of messages now, but no word from him yet. Honestly, I’m looking forward to him trying to come find me - I’ll be ready for that little muppet.

Got a call from an Indian guy who was really disrespectful. He actually asked me if I was a virgin and then called me a b****. He threatened to ring me 500 times. When I asked to speak to his manager, he flat out refused. Now hes ringing my house non stop. Does anyone know what company this is and where they're located?

This firm never seems to take a hint and keeps ringing us up about a former employee, despite our repeated explanations that she's no longer part of the team. They incessantly call from an overseas call centre, which is incredibly frustrating! One can't help but wonder why British businesses opt for such disreputable services when there are plenty of fantastic call centres right here in the UK. It's like dealing with a pack of piranhas, honestly!

For some reason, these calls from people of Asian background just keep coming through. I'm 60, but still young at heart. I used to get really annoyed and had a few shouting matches with some choice words thrown in. Now, I just stay quiet until they finally give up and hang up. Sometimes I even warn them I’ll knock their heads off, which usually surprises them! One thing that helped was getting a referee's whistle and blasting it down the line - that really throws them off!

I told them I wasn’t available and asked what the call was about. This bloke actually had a bit of a laugh, said he was calling from truelove.com and claimed I’d requested a blind date. Things got a bit cheeky after that, so I ended the call pretty sharpish...

I got a call from some bloke about PPI compensation. When I said I'd already been hassled by like 5000 calls about the same thing, he got proper rude, started swearing at me and even threatened to come round and have a go at me. He even mentioned my actual house number and postcode! Honestly, it was well frightening. Not impressed one bit.

These persistent calls are becoming a right pain! One of the people who keeps ringing sounds like they might be Chinese or something similar, but I can hardly understand them. They always get my name wrong and are forever trying to fish for details about a PFI claim. Only a few days back, I decided to turn the tables and asked her some questions instead. She had the audacity to call me 'bullshit', to which I promptly replied that it was actually her doing the bullshitting! Told her to bugger off and not to bother me again. Some bloke rang me up and I decided to mess about a bit. I told him I took out a loan ages ago, like 25 years back, with Northern Rock for £875. He was eager for more info and kept saying I could get a refund easily. So I asked him, “Refund for what exactly?” Then I flipped it and asked if he could sort out my computer first. I kept asking if he wanted my IP address like last time he called, chucking it at him repeatedly. After a while, he just told me to piss off. Blew at least 8 minutes of his time, which made my day. Absolutely brilliant.

Told them this is a private number and they shouldn’t be ringing me, but the bloke on the other end just said he could call as much as he wanted, even if it’s 100 times a day. Then out of nowhere, he started cursing, shouting stuff like “f*** you” and asking if I wanted to “f*** him”. Proper rude!
