I got a call from a guy from India asking me about my satisfaction with EE. Before I knew it, he was offering me a 40% discount for sticking with them so long. Out of nowhere, a new iPhone arrived that I never requested. Because of EE’s rules, they couldn’t update the delivery address, so the phone came straight to my place instead of theirs. Now I’ve got to sort the mess out. Be careful and don’t get caught up in this.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone saying I was eligible for an upgrade. They were pushing a "fantastic offer" and then asked for my bank info! Totally a SCAM, don’t fall for it!

Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be with 3 Mobile. Since I’m actually a 3 customer, I listened for a bit. They mentioned I was eligible for an upgrade, which seemed a bit off to me as I’m pretty sure I’m not. I ended the call and rang 3 directly, and they told me it was a scam trying to trick me into giving my bank info. Definitely dodgy!

I received a call from an Indian man who claimed to have my number from the national survey agency. According to him, I reported having a minor car accident during that survey. Quite amusing! However, it definitely seems like a scam.

Got a call from an Indian guy who claimed he got my number from some national survey group. He said I mentioned in that survey about a minor car accident I had. Sounds like one of those dodgy compensation scams. This came after I put up an ad on Gumtree, so be careful!

It turns out that I was involved in a road accident! I must say, I am relieved that he rang to inform me, as I had absolutely no clue about it beforehand. What a revelation! 😂

He introduced himself as Alex, but couldn't pronounce my surname, so I ended the call. He made several more attempts from the same number and I received another missed call from a different London number. Something seems quite suspicious!

There has been a repeated occurrence of an Indian gentleman claiming to represent "the road traffic management". This individual has persistently contacted us on three separate occasions, each time using a different phone number. Regrettably, his attempts to persuade us have been unconvincing at best. Although the exact nature of his scam remains unclear, it is highly likely that he will eventually request money for some purported matter.

This bloke claimed he was ringing from the London road traffic accident office. Said it was some government thing. Total rubbish, obviously a dodgy scam lol. Very poor attempt if you ask me.

I received a phone call from an Indian gentleman claiming to know about an accident I had. Being registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), I politely asked him to cease contacting me and promptly blocked his number. In the event that he calls again, I plan to use a whistle to produce a loud noise down the phone, and I encourage others to do the same.

Hello, I am calling regarding an incident that has occurred. I apologize if my accent sounds Indian.

Got a call from some bloke speaking with an Indian accent going on about some crash he claimed happened to me last year, which obviously never did. I left my phone next to the telly for what felt like ages while he jabbered away, even hearing the presenter from Homes Under The Hammer in the background. Eventually he gave up, so I blocked the number straight away. Feeling glad about that!

I received a phone call regarding a car accident that never actually occurred. When I requested the individual to remove my information, they responded rudely and told me to go away. How unpleasant.

This number phoned me out of the blue asking about an incident from last year that never happened. I reckon it's one of those dodgy compensation seekers. When I asked for details, the caller got really rude and then told me to piss off before ending the call. Tried phoning back to speak to a manager, but of course, the number came up as 'unrecognised'. Typical!

Beware of scam artists, it's important to promptly block and ignore them. These scammers often attempt multiple times with slightly different numbers before eventually giving up, so stay vigilant.

I received a call from someone claiming to be called Henry, despite having an Indian accent. Surprisingly, he informed me that I had been involved in an accident within the past two years, of which I had no knowledge or recollection. Not believing his words, I promptly ended the conversation and hung up. However, he persistently called back questioning why I had terminated the call. I explained that I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service to avoid unsolicited calls. Yet, he still insisted on calling again, stating that the only way he could remove my number was if I pretended to be a relative of his. Unwilling to entertain his requests any further, I ended the call once more. Feeling wary, I decided to block the number and thankfully, have not encountered any issues since then.

I just got a new phone recently and barely anyone had my new number yet. Right after I put up an ad on Gumtree to sell my old phone, this number called me less than 5 minutes later. Quite surprised how quick they got in touch!

I received a call from someone falsely claiming that I had been in an accident, when in reality I had not. I warned the person to stop calling me, but they responded rudely and told me to go away. To my dismay, they called again and this time I inquired about their name and number, which they provided. I have evidence of the conversation recorded on my phone.

I encountered an unidentified caller on my mobile, claiming to be Derek from Road Traffic Accident Management, a division of the National Accident Helpline. Since the number appeared as 'unknown,' I requested his contact information. As the conversation progressed, Derek mentioned that he was reaching out regarding a car accident that occurred in the past two years, insisting that it wasn't my fault. He asked if I could recall the incident. Perplexed, I inquired for further details about the accident since I had no recollection of it. In response, Derek swiftly concluded that there had been a misunderstanding and abruptly ended the call.
