FRAUD ALERT Got a rather alarming phone call today saying that my national insurance number is at risk of being suspended and that I could be arrested if I didn’t get back to them. Of course, I thought better of it and didn’t bother. This makes it the third time in half a year that I’ve received such nonsense, and surprise, surprise, I’m still free as a bird!

Just like everyone else has noted, this is a right dodgy call. They keep asking for the last three digits of my National Insurance number or they'll supposedly have me arrested. Sounds like a total scam to me! - caller: 02081338595

I had a rather dodgy call from this number claiming to be from HMRC. They went on about some sort of arrest warrant linked to my name and urged me to ring a different number. It was all very suspicious and just a robotic voice droning on. - caller: Unknown

I received an identical call and decided to return the call using my landline. The person on the other end requested the last three digits of my National Insurance number for some sort of verification. As soon as I provided the information, they promptly hung up. I’m really hoping they can’t extract any sensitive details from that interaction.

I got a rather alarming call on my mobile, followed by a voicemail claiming there were some dodgy dealings tied to my National Insurance number. They insisted I ring them back with the last three digits of my NI number or else they'd get the police involved to issue a warrant for my arrest. Naturally, I thought better of returning their call-sounds like a right con to me! - number: 02081338595
