I naively provided them with all my details. The following day, a Samsung Galaxy 10 was delivered to my door, courtesy of O2. Then, out of the blue, they phoned me claiming a mistake had been made and that I must return the incorrect item, assuring me they'd dispatch the iPhone I'd initially ordered if I did. They sent me a recorded delivery address in Bolton to send the phone back to. However, when the next day rolled around, I found myself without the promised iPhone. I contacted O2 only to discover a Samsung contract had somehow been linked to my name. I recounted my entire saga to them. It seems they've orchestrated quite a clever ruse-ordering a phone in my name and then calling me about the ‘misdelivered’ parcel.
