2 yearsGot caught out by this number - definitely don’t pick up! They claim to be from O2 and say your SIM needs replacing. Turns out, they actually accessed my O2 account and ordered gadgets pretending to be me, but had everything sent to their own place. Proper scam!2 yearsGot a call from someone saying they're with O2's IT department... I'm fairly convinced this is some kind of phone contract scam (might even mean they've hacked O2's systems). It sounds legit though, since the messages seem like they're really coming from O2. Just so you know, these other numbers are linked to the same caller: 02032862368 and 02035389677. Signed, W0LF, an O2 customer.IT TeamsO22 yearsToday, I got caught out by a scammer giving a 020 number, pretending to be from O2. They told me my SIM card was soon to be disabled and that they’d send me a replacement. They asked for my login info and security numbers, which I foolishly gave. They managed to get into my O2 account and even placed an order for a new phone. The plan was that they’d have me send back my old device to an address they provided, but really, they’d have taken over my SIM and all my personal info like bank details and contacts. I’ve blocked the number straight away now.Submit Your Own Report (020 8133 6920)
