I reckon I've been ripped off!! The person on the phone told me to pay £225 using Paysafe, so I did. A while back I did get in touch with a company about checking my cards for any PPI claims, so I thought this call was legit. Proper annoyed now and I'm definitely gonna report this to the fraud authorities.

I ended up losing £175.00 to these scammers, so seriously, don’t hand over any money to them.

I've been getting multiple calls from this one number claiming they have a cheque for me about some mis-sold PPI, and they want me to meet up to collect it. However, before that, they say I need to pay £150 through a paysafecard. Each time I tell them to leave me alone, but different voices keep phoning - some are downright unpleasant and pushy. They all speak with foreign accents but give out English names. Is there any way to make this stop? It's really annoying having these people keep bothering me!

So, I got a call from a number I didn't recognise, and when I asked who it was, they said it was the despatch dept at London City Council. They wanted to talk to my disabled mum about some cheque they were supposedly sending her. I told them I used to be in the police, which I think threw them off, because then the bloke got really rude and kept pushing me to hand the phone to my mum. Total bunch of scammers if you ask me.

Today, some bloke rang me saying he wanted to give us £3800.50 in compensation for an accident my partner was in more than a year ago. He said he already got a paysafe card and would send £200 first. Can anyone tell me who these folks are?
