I got a call from someone claiming to be Santander Bank, trying to convince my elderly relative with dementia to send £5,000 to some account for an "urgent" matter. Luckily, a carer was just there and stepped in to deal with the caller. The person on the line got really annoyed and the carer ended the call straight away. Honestly, these scammers are as nasty as it gets.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from my bank, asking for my details. Felt like a total scam, definitely targeting older people who might not be as sharp. Really sick how they do this.
