They kept insisting that I required a new SIM card from O2, but when I pressed them for details, they started asking for my email to supposedly set up a ‘merged’ O2 account. It just didn’t add up! I told them that if they were genuine, they wouldn’t need my email since they should already have access to my account information. As soon as I pushed back, they hung up. Not keen to share, I said I had so many emails I wasn’t sure which one O2 had.
