Got a call from someone with a strong Asian accent asking if I’d got my ice cream delivery. It made no sense at all. I struggled to follow what she was saying and ended the call. Then she called again, saying I hadn’t settled my payment from the day before at some place called Ice Cream Republic. I told her flat out I had no clue what she meant and wasn’t at any such place. She kept asking if I was certain and where I was the day before, so I just hung up.

Got a call from someone saying they were from a claims recovery firm. I just ended the call straight away.

So these lot called me saying there’s a cheque for £2,800 from some road accident back in 2011, supposedly from city county court. When I told them I used to be a copper and asked for proof, they just cut me off! Proper scam if you ask me. I wonder how many people they trick into handing over those so-called ukase vouchers. They seriously should be shut down.

I got a voicemail from a man speaking with an Asian accent, telling me I’d won £2800 from a PPI claim linked to the Royal Bank of Scotland. He mentioned it was through The City County Court in London. When I tried calling back, there was no reply. Does anyone know if this sounds legit or is it a scam?

I just got a voicemail from a man with a really strong Asian accent claiming I've won £2800 from a PPI claim with Royal Bank of Scotland.
