Received a call from someone claiming to be with the NatWest Fraud dept, asking if I’d approved a transaction. When I told them this wasn’t my bank, they pushed me to check my emails and do what they said, which looked like a way to get into my Google account. Creepy how they had my personal info like name, dob, phone numbers and all. The person was quite convincing and polished, at least at first. Sadly it feels like now any caller with a foreign accent should be treated cautiously - best to just hang up and ring back the number they called from.
