If you’re having probs with this company, there's a guy called Roy who’s like the manager or something. If anyone there is being a pain, just ring and ask for Roy, he’s pretty helpful. They aren't trying to scam you, I even gave them my bank info and they never charged anything. From what I understood, they just want to sign you up so they can earn their commission.

For the past 10 days, I've been getting calls pretty much nonstop - anywhere from 3 to 10 times daily. The bloke says he's with Opus and insists I verify my bank info because apparently I’ve switched from being a sole trader to a limited company. He’s really forceful and refuses to back off, even after I’ve told him to stop ringing me. Honestly, don’t hand over any of your details to these sorts.

We got a few calls from someone who said his name was Mr Harry and claimed to be ringing from National Grid. He kept saying it was important to talk to the owner but I just told him to leave a message with his name and number so the boss could ring back. This guy has phoned a couple of times before and always mentioned he was from National Grid, but on the last call, when I kept saying the manager wasn’t available, he got pretty rude and started swearing at me. I told him to jog on. I’m convinced it’s a scam - he’s got way too much time on his hands.

We just set up a company yesterday and today I got a call from a bloke named Rehan claiming to be from EON energy, saying he needed to verify some personal info. I told him to send me the details in writing instead, but he wasn’t having any of it. So I got a bit annoyed and hung up on him. Then he rang back asking why I hadn’t confirmed anything and wanted me to talk to his manager, some Khalit Mahmut or something. Of course, I said no thanks. Good luck avoiding these fraudsters!

Over the last couple of days, this number has rung my cafe more than 20 times. They acted really unprofessional and I have no idea where they got my info from. They claimed to be from Eon Energy, asking for my meter readings. I jokingly asked if they needed my bank details alongside the meter info, and they actually said they wanted my sort code and account number. I hung up straight away.

Then he "transferred" me to N Power and they started asking for my personal details. I just ended the call straight away!
