9 yearsI've received calls from this number previously, but today they've tried to reach me twice. Each time I pick up, they simply hang up on me! I'm utterly baffled by this nonsense! It's getting quite irritating, and I'm currently with TTP. I've decided to block the number for good measure.9 yearsI answered the phone, but it was completely silent. I've gone through my call records and noticed they've attempted to reach me six times over the past week. I've now decided to block the number.9 yearsI received a rather dubious call from someone identifying herself as Jazz, claiming to represent the Ministry of Justice in relation to some supposed unclaimed funds from my bank. She mentioned that there was a whopping £2500 waiting for me, and that a solicitor called Sofi Wilkinson would swing by my home to hand over the cheque. When I queried why they couldn't simply post it like all the previous repayments I received for PPI, she insisted that this wasn't possible. Instead, I was instructed to head to Tesco and purchase a £50 iTunes Card, then call back on the number she provided. Honestly, it reeked of a scam. In my experience, all my PPI reimbursements were either deposited straight into my account or mailed as a cheque. Believe me, steer clear of this!Ministry of JusticeSofi WilkinsonTesco9 yearsI received a call purporting to be from the Ministry of Justice, claiming that I had £2,500 in unclaimed bank fees. They informed me that a solicitor would visit to hand over a cheque, but first, I needed to pop down to Tesco and buy an iTunes gift card worth £125 and then ring them back at this number. It's clearly a con. I'm no fool. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this nonsense!Ministry of JusticeTescoiTunes9 yearsThey’re purporting to represent the Department of Justice, insisting they’ve managed to reclaim funds on your behalf related to Personal Protection Insurance, or PPI for short. However, it’s important to note that the Department of Justice doesn’t engage in any sort of business when it comes to recovering PPI claims. This is definitely a scammer at work!Department of Justice9 yearsReceived a call from Claim Eazy, and I picked up, but I'm not entirely convinced it's genuine.Claim Eazy9 yearsTotally a con! The bloke claims to be calling from the head office of Barclays, but that’s just not true.BarclaysSubmit Your Own Report (020 8133 1483)
