Got a call from someone claiming to be O2. They said my number would get blocked within a week if I didn’t sort something out. Wasn't really listening after that and just ended the call and blocked the number. Definitely seemed like a scam.

I received a dodgy call claiming to be from O2, saying my mobile number would be cut off shortly unless I took some action or other. I didn't stick around to find out what they wanted, as I promptly ended the call and blocked the number. Complete nonsense!

Got a call from someone claiming to be o2, wanted me to confirm my email for my account. I gave them "gof**[email protected]" just to mess about. They seemed a bit weirded out and asked again, so I told them if they were being picky or something. They kept pushing so I just ended the call, couldn’t be bothered dealing with it.

I didnt even get to find out where the call came from coz it was some robotic voice. So I just went ahead and blocked that number.

A lady claimed to represent O2, but I don’t even use O2 for my phone. Straight away, I blocked the number.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2 trying to get me to fill out some kind of discount form. They wanted me to answer a bunch of "security questions" to check my O2 account. When I asked why they couldn’t just add the discount without all that faff since they were the ones who called me, they just immediately hung up. Bit sketchy if you ask me! You shouldn’t have to confirm your details on their say so, especially when they’re the ones ringing first.

Got a call from something called Auto Service Network, said they were my phone provider. I just ended the call and then blocked their number straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were with o2, but as soon as I said my phone is linked to my dad’s account and that o2 usually speaks to the account holder, they cut the call straight away. They tried saying my SIM would be blocked and a new one sent for “upgrades,” but I told them that’s never been done before and it seemed fishy. Ended up blocking the number right away.

Total scammer, watch out!

I encountered a rather sluggish connection during a call, and the bloke on the other end had a pronounced Indian accent. He claimed his name was Adam, but I got the impression he might’ve been having a bit of a laugh with his mates in the background. He purported to be from EE and requested my email address to send some information my way. To be honest, I wasn’t buying it, so I decided to hang up.

This week I’ve had two calls from a mysterious number supposedly from London. I picked up the first one because I was waiting for a call from a different person, but as I suspected, it was just another scammer from India pretending to be an EE rep. Both numbers are now blocked.
