The message came from a sketchy number, so I got suspicious straight away. Then, strangely enough, my SIM stopped working. I had a look in Settings under Network, SIM, then Access Point Name, and noticed my plan was switched from Monthly to Pay As You Go without me doing anything. I switched it back and my SIM started working again.
