Got a call from a lady claiming to be some sort of energy advisor, saying they could help me save on insulation or energy bills. I couldn’t really catch what she was saying, and when I asked her to repeat, she just hung up. Sounded like she had an Aussie or Kiwi accent. She said she was local to my area, which is weird because I don’t even live in London. Feels dodgy to me, so I’d steer clear of this caller.

There was a brief pause before a bloke with an unfamiliar accent started talking in a really odd way. He said he was "Mark" and claimed to be involved with some government scheme about insulation. I didn’t hold back, called him out as a fraud, and after a short silence, the line went dead. Seems like one of those computer-generated voice scams, maybe a twist on the "Jo" robocalls. My number’s on the TPS, not in any directory, never used to make calls, and only BT, my alarm company, and the TPS have it. Definitely a scam attempt.
