Some bloke called saying he was from the “road traffic dept” about a car crash i supposedly had in the past couple years. I told him that sounded like a gdpr violation and he ended the call sharpish.

total scam, for sure. this person said they were from a solicitor’s office and said ‘someone in your home reported a small car accident, do you recall?’ but their english was really poor. i just told them they’d got the wrong address and ended the call.

Got a call from some call centre claiming to be the traffic dept, and they even knew where I lived. They said it was about a car crash. I told them I don’t own a car, then they said it involved a family member. I told her I’ve got no family and that she was making stuff up. Then she just ended the call.
