020 3883 7757 A woman claimed the company had some info about me linked to a road accident, but I told her that’s not true, as I don’t drive nor live in the UK. She then said maybe I was a passenger, and I just told her she was making a cold call. She got quite irate and started shouting back at me, saying “you don’t have to shout” over and over in a strong Liverpudlian accent, really aggressively. I’ve blocked the number now, as it sounds like a scam to me.

I received a call today from someone purporting to be a nationwide service, talking about a car accident that never happened. The voice sounded Asian, and there was a weird static noise in the background. Quite suspicious, to say the least!

Got a call from National Traffic Management, they mentioned my first name and said I was involved in an accident. Told them I didn’t have a car, and they said maybe someone in my family did. I said no one does. Then they switched to saying it happened on public transport. I said I don’t even go out or use public transport. That really threw them off.

I got a call saying I’d been in a small accident, someone hit me from behind. I told them I’d had a few accidents lately, so which one did they mean? She kept saying the one where someone hit me from behind. I replied all my recent ones were like that, so she should specify where exactly this one happened. She said she’d ring back, but it’s been like half an hour now...pretty sure that confused her 😂🤣😂

Got a call from Nationwide Traffic Management claiming there was a minor accident and compensation owed. Really frustrating because I kept telling them nothing happened. I’ve never heard of this company before and I wasn’t about to talk about anything on a random cold call. I just said I’d wait for my insurance to get in touch if anything was due. Didn’t give them any info. Fingers crossed they leave me alone now.

no clue, but it came from 02081254578. as soon as the answerphone kicked in, they just hung up. i never pick up unknown numbers. legit callers will usually leave a message on the answering machine. scammers, con artists, robocalls, sales pitches, and the like pretty much always just drop the call. seriously, why would anyone pick up an unknown number nowadays! i always look up numbers that hang up on me just in case it was a genuine person who actually needed to talk to me, not just some random company selling something like utilities.
