I got a call from 02081246424 earlier and I’d advise not picking up. When I rang back, some lady with an Indian accent just said "hello" and didn’t bother saying which company she was from. That’s really fishy, usually a legit company identifies themselves right away. Definitely seems like a scam to me. I’m not an O2 customer, so it’s dodgy they’re ringing trying to get my custom. I’ve blocked the number now so they can’t ring me again.

Picked up the call, but there was complete silence from the other end.

I didn’t get her name, but it was a woman speaking with a thick Indian accent. She claimed to be calling from O2 and offered a 40% discount. She mentioned she’d send me some texts to confirm things. Something about the call didn’t feel right, so I ended it quickly. Looking up this number here made me think it was probably a scam.
