When I requested official documentation to back up his claim, he had the audacity to say there wasn’t any paperwork available. I couldn’t help but hurl a few choice words his way before I ended the call.

just got a call about an hour back saying i had a warrant for tax evasion. i reckon they rang during my lunch break to get me to step out and maybe head to sainsbury’s. being new here, i was pretty convinced by their spiel for at least 15 minutes.

Got a call claiming to be from HMRC, said they sent me some papers and I’ve failed to pay, so now I’m facing arrest lol. Total scam as usual. I tried ringing them back to get more info, but of course no one answered. My tip? If you get these dumb calls, just say you won’t share any personal details. Usually the calls stop after that for a bit.

I got a call from this number and heard some robotic voice warning me about being arrested for tax fraud. I called back and they just repeated that nonsense, telling me to get a lawyer or else. What a complete load of rubbish!

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, said they sent me some papers and that if I don't pay up, I'm getting arrested lol. Total scam, so annoying. I tried ringing them back to find out more but no one picked up. My advice? Don't give out any of your details on these kind of calls. It usually makes the calls stop for a bit.

Seems like one of those dodgy scams to me. They rang my elderly mum, and when I tried calling back, the person answered and already knew her name without me mentioning it. Told him she’s not even of an age to be taxed, and he just hung up on me!

I got a weird call from some robot, so I phoned back. A guy with an accent, probably Chinese, told me I had a warrant for arrest over dodging taxes. Strangely, he rattled off my old addresses and job places, which freaked me out a bit. I rang HMRC after and they said it’s a scam number and they’re looking into it now.
