11 yearsEarlier today, she decided to adopt the name Richard Scott. Strangely enough, her accent didn't quite match the typical Scottish lilt!Richard Scott14 yearsFor about three weeks now, I’ve been getting calls from someone claiming to be from Microsoft support. I asked where he got my number from and demanded his contact details. The company he said he worked for was called Online Web Support Ltd, but when I looked it up, it seems like it doesn’t even exist. He went on about needing to wipe my Microsoft support through my router because my computer supposedly had a virus. I told him to go ahead - as if he could tell that over the phone! Of course, nothing changed, my computer is fine, Microsoft support is still working and my router wasn’t affected one bit. I reckon the bloke was calling from India. It’s mad they think people fall for this. Honestly, get a proper job instead of wasting your time trying to scam us!MicrosoftOnline Web Support Ltd.India14 yearsThis bloke calls himself “Mick Parker”, but that’s not his real name. He claims to be based in London, but actually he’s in Pune, near Mumbai. The address he gives is purportedly Homebase in North Finchley. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He pretends to be from Microsoft, telling you your computer has viruses or other problems. Then he tries to get you to visit aammy.com, which is a genuine remote access website, and enter a code so he can get control of your PC. After that, he’ll install fake malware alerts, like a bogus trojan or smit-fraud scam, on your computer. Of course, he’ll ask for your credit card details to “activate” this dodgy software. It’ll then claim to have fixed all the fake issues it supposedly found. Afterwards, he’ll use your card info to go on a shopping spree. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Mick ParkerLondonPuneBombayNorth FinchleyMicrosoftSubmit Your Own Report (020 8123 8931)
