someone called pretending to be from a travel company, but it was a total 419 scam, trying to cheat me out of money.

got a call earlier supposedly from fonehouse trying to sell me a sim-only deal for £8 a month with unlimited data. they wanted £10 in advance and asked for loads of personal info, all sounded fishy and like a scam to steal my card details and identity. the caller’s english was awful too. definitely just block these numbers and tell folks it’s a scam!

Got calls from 02081236084 and 02032867820 saying they were from Carphone Warehouse, trying to get me to upgrade my contract. Sounded really pushy and dodgy to me, so I just blocked them straight away. My phone even flagged the numbers as possible fraud, so glad I didn't engage!

Got a call from a woman claiming to be with Car Phone Warehouse, sounded Indian. When I told her to take my number off their list, she got all rude on me. Then some Indian bloke took over the phone and kept telling me to "fuck off" about four times! Proper idiots.

It's a scam, best just block the number straight away.

I got a call on my mobile from an unknown number, but I didn’t pick up since I didn't know who it was. When I tried calling back, I was met with one of those standard automated messages saying the number couldn’t be found!

Not long ago, I tried to get a mobile contract through Carphone Warehouse but was turned down. So, I chose a different provider and actually ended up with a much better offer. Now, out of the blue, Carphone Warehouse rings me up saying they can give me an even cheaper deal than £10 a month, which includes unlimited calls, texts and data. Honestly, I think it’s a load of rubbish. I’ve just blocked their number and I’d suggest everyone else do the same - save yourself the hassle, block it straight away!

Got a call from an Asian lady claiming she was from Carphone Warehouse, offering a cheap mobile contract. She was fishing for my card info, but I didn't give anything. Pretty obvious scam trying to grab card details under the ruse of a bargain contract. Best to just ignore these calls.
