Phone number ☎️ 02081235206 👆 is reported as a persistent scam number posing as BT customer service, often featuring callers with foreign accents who claim the recipient’s internet or broadband is compromised by hackers. Repeated calls and high-pressure tactics are common, so vigilance is essential to avoid potential fraud.

Got a call from someone named Jennifer Smith, sounded like she had an Indian accent. She said there was an issue with my router which seemed strange because just last week I was on the phone with BT for ages sorting out a replacement. She left me a number to ring back on, but honestly, it felt like a total scam.

Today I got a call from 020305436530, some bloke with an Indian accent telling me that loads of people were messing with my internet. I told him I'd ring up BT directly, and he then gave me the number above to call instead. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Ring came through from India, pretty much the same story with the same names and everything. As soon as I told them I wouldn’t visit any sites other than BT, they just hung up on me. Weird how it’s always the same spiel every time.

On 13th Dec 2017, I got a call from a woman who sounded like she was from abroad. She claimed my BT internet was hacked and asked for my info. I asked for her name and a phone number she could be reached on. She said her name was Lyndsey Smith and gave me this number.

Today I got a phone call from someone claiming they were from BT. I asked to talk to their manager and they then gave me this number: 02081235206.

Got a call warning me that hackers from abroad were trying to get into my account, and they said 'BT' would help me stop them. They insisted I stay by my computer so they could guide me through the process. Felt a bit iffy, so I asked for their contact info and told them I'd ring back. They gave me a BT HQ address but used a 0208 code instead of the usual 0207, plus an employee’s name and number - a very typical English name but the voice on the phone sounded nothing like a local. Didn’t bother calling back in the end.

Got a call today, 7th November 2017, some bloke said he was from BT. Told me my broadband was being used by strangers and that's why it was slow. Sounded like he wasn’t even from here, gave a dodgy name - Stephen George or something. Asked me to log into my computer and all that rubbish. Didn’t have the patience for their nonsense, so I just ended the call. Total scam if you ask me.

Just a heads up, this is completely dodgy. They rang me saying someone was messing with my internet and told me to download team viewer. Then they tried getting me to log into my bank account. Don't follow their instructions at all. I told them I'd checked with BT, who said they didn't know the number. After that, they hung up on me.

I received a rather dodgy call from a chap named Jack Williams, complete with an Indian accent, claiming to represent BT. He insisted that our computer had been hacked and offered to assist us in rectifying the issue. I told him my husband would return the call, and he kindly provided a contact number along with his employee ID, BGT195. When I mentioned that we're not actually with BT, he remarked that, in the UK, BT is essentially the overarching authority and oversees all internet service providers. This might shed light on why we’re also fielding calls from Tiscali, Talk Talk, and others, all keen to 'fix' the same supposed problem! Ironically, as I’m typing this, another call just came through from a bloke named Mike, also with an Indian accent, claiming to be from Tiscali-two calls from different providers in under an hour! Isn't that delightful?

I got a call from this bloke claiming our phone line was being used by someone else and that it was causing it to lag. Good thing I looked up this number first and came across these reviews!

Got a call today from someone claiming to be with BT, saying they’d cut off my internet for a few months if I didn’t do something. Total scam, obviously. I asked to check who they really were and they gave me this same number. They keep calling from abroad, so it's just a proper faff. Blocked them now.

Just like loads of other people have said, I keep getting calls from someone with a strange accent warning me my internet’s gonna be cut off soon because hackers might be after it. They claim to be from BT or something. They even try to get me to type stuff into my computer to “fix” the problem. No way I’m falling for that! So annoying!

I’ve had a right dodgy experience with these chaps! They claim to be from BT, spinning a yarn about issues with my broadband. It’s all just a ploy to get into your computer and plant some nasty viruses. Definitely not trustworthy!

Received a call purporting to be from BT, claiming that unknown individuals were attempting to access our business's wifi network. The caller was a woman with an Indian accent, and I could discern other voices in the background, suggesting she was not alone. When I requested a callback number, she provided one, but I’ve refrained from returning the call, as I have my suspicions that it’s simply a scam.

Definitely a scam.
