Some bloke said he was from B.T and told me I’d paid £90 too much last year. He asked for my bank info so he could send the money back. Sounded pretty legit and even told me the first two digits of my card, asking me to give the rest. Didn’t fall for it and didn’t share anything else. I rang B.T just to double check and they said there was nothing like that on their end. Then I called my bank worried my info might be out there, but they said loads of cards from their bank begin with the same two digits anyway.

I've flagged this number for the second time now and I’ll continue to do so due to their incessant harassment! Best of luck dealing with those fines. Since it’s the second report, they’re bound to look into it and they'll probably face penalties for violating the do-not-call registry. You’ve really played yourself, mate!

Blimey, how utterly inconsiderate! I received a call from this number, and upon informing them that my number is registered on the do-not-call list, they just hung up on me. Absolutely appalling! It’s not just rude; it’s against the law. I expect no more calls from you, thank you very much! Just to make it clear - if you happen to read this, consider this a fair warning! I've jotted down the date and time of your dubious call, and should you dare to ring again, I won’t hesitate to report you. That number doesn’t seem like a standard Aussie mobile - it’s far too long. Definitely comes from overseas, which makes it all the more dodgy!

Received a call from a chap with an Indian accent bright and early at half past seven this morning-can you believe it, 7:30! Naturally, I wasn't having any of it and let him have a right earful. Since then, I've been dialling him repeatedly, and I intend to keep it up for the rest of the day and well into the night. This number keeps ringing my elderly father, who is 72 and suffers from dementia. They call him relentlessly, both night and day, without fail. Fortunately, I happened to be with him when they rang today; I answered and, upon confronting the caller-a man with an Indian accent-he just cut the line. We’ve pleaded with them well over 20 times to cease their calls, yet they persist. Any idea on how I can effectively block this pesky number?

I got a rather suspicious call from a woman claiming to be from the road traffic authority about an accident involving me. When I enquired how she obtained my number, considering I’m ex-directory, she insisted it was from the road traffic division concerning this so-called accident. I had a rather common encounter with a chap who claimed to be from Microsoft. He informed me that my computer was supposedly being assaulted by hackers. When he asked me to sit down at my computer, I agreed, but my phone was too far away to reach it. He then requested my mobile, but I explained that I didn’t possess one. He mentioned he’d give me a ring another time.

It appears Steven is still plying his dubious trade. Just today, I received a rather dubious call informing me that I ought to power up my computer, as apparently, he was ringing from Microsoft headquarters. He claimed to have received a report indicating that my machine was being compromised by a hacker and was riddled with viruses! Unbelievable, isn’t it? I told him that I’ve got a bit of experience with computers myself and found it odd since I hadn’t even touched my computer the day before, which left me questioning the basis of his so-called information. At that point, he abruptly ended the call! It’s a shame that these fraudsters can’t be put out of commission, as one day they might actually manage to ensnare someone unassuming and really mess up their computer. Best of luck, everyone-just remember to firmly say NO!

This is just the usual lot of scammers from India. They call all the time trying this nonsense. They’re not really dangerous though. Just say you haven’t got a computer, live off the grid, and have no clue what the internet is, and they’ll back off. Even better, humour them while pretending you’re using an old school toy like a doodle pad. Don’t admit it’s a doodle pad until you’re nearly finished with the convo. Honestly, you’d have to be daft as a brush to give any personal info to these muppets.
