12 yearsThis number just scammed me for £224. They picked up the phone and said they were easy loans, claiming they don't ask for any payment beforehand. Since then, they keep calling me every day. Does anyone have advice on how I might get my money back? My name’s Sally Havard, email [email protected].Easy Loans12 yearsThere’s a firm called easy loans who try to con you into paying £49.99 for a so-called "approved loan." After that, they’ll pressure you to hand over another £85, claiming it guarantees the loan. Once you’ve paid up, they send you off to an epay shop to buy vouchers worth £195, supposedly so they can transfer the loan money to your account. If you fall for the whole scheme, not only do they vanish, but on the payday you gave them, they withdraw your entire salary straight from your bank. You never actually receive any loan cash, just get scammed out of a lot of money. Since the payment was made by card, it’s nearly impossible to get your funds back. Naturally, they deny all responsibility, and when you try involving the police, they use your phone records against you, so they’re never caught. In the end, you’re left completely skint.
