I received a rather peculiar voicemail the other day that left me quite puzzled. The caller, a woman with a pronounced Indian accent, had a voice that was a bit crackly, and there were awkward silences between her words, which made it hard to follow. She blurted something about a "marketing position at a bank," but it was all a bit jumbled. She mentioned that she "acquired my number," yet didn’t specify where or how, which raises many questions. What I found particularly alarming was that this call came a day after I’d been targeted by another dodgy caller trying to pull off financial fraud. That call was also a voicemail from a woman, sporting a thick Indian accent as well. She claimed to be affiliated with Halifax, but to my dismay, when I contacted Halifax directly, they confirmed that it wasn’t a legitimate number and urged me to reach out to their Fraud Team. It’s all rather dodgy, to say the least!

I had a rather unexpected call from a lady with a strong Indian accent regarding a job opening at the Bank of India’s branch here in the UK. Things took a turn when she began inquiring about my personal information, prompting me to hang up. Quite a peculiar situation!

I received a call that seemed to concern a job opportunity, but I struggled to grasp exactly what the woman was saying due to her thick Indian accent. It was quite difficult to follow her words, to be honest.
