3 yearsOn the 19th of December, I got a call from some people claiming to be from Three, offering me a new phone since my contract was nearly up. Since it sounded legit, I believed they were from my network. But things got fishy after I didn’t get any order confirmation until after a second transaction happened. They somehow opened a new add-on account and used Three Pay to buy something on Poppo live, and I ended up being charged for it. It was such a pain having to report this to the bank, my service provider, and the proper authorities. I’m still waiting to hear back about the investigation. I tried ringing them today but no luck - no answer. Probably because it’s the weekend? Although the number they used shows a London location, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re actually based somewhere far away like India or elsewhere.
