Got a call from this number claiming to be O2. When I asked what the call was about, they said it was because I have a contract with them. I asked them to tell me my name linked to the contract. As soon as I did, they just hung up straight away. I don’t actually have any contract with O2. Pretty dodgy call if you ask me.

Was in the car driving and got this call, but since Im always on hands free I just let it ring. Better not to pick up on calls from weird numbers, most times its just scams. NEVER trust unknown digits!

Someone rang me claiming to be from O2 mobile, pushing some "better deals". They wanted my app passwords but never bothered with any security checks! Weirdly, they even told me what password to use the next time I logged into the My O2 app. They said they’d send me verification codes but I never got any. Then they said they’d email me but those never turned up either. They said they’d call and email back but I’m still waiting. Oddly, the call came from a number with the name “The Vacancy Room” on my caller ID - no clue what that’s about. Really dodgy, if you ask me!
