I wasn’t really able to make out what they were saying and since I wasn’t anticipating any calls, I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone who sounded like they were from the East, I could hear others chatting faintly behind them. The call dropped the moment I picked up. Then they rang again right away.

Got two calls from this lot, and the moment they said they were from O2, I knew it was dodgy. They kept pushing me to get a new SIM and sign up for a contract, claiming my current one would start having issues. I humoured them a bit on the second call but ended it pretty quickly.

Got a call from an unfamiliar number on my phone, but I just let it ring out.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky Mobile with a 30% off deal. I asked them to verify my email or give any real personal details they supposedly had, but they couldn’t. Told them there was no way I’d go ahead without proof it was actually Sky or at least a callback number. Then the person said “are you thick?” I shot back that no proper Sky rep would talk like that to a customer. They just hung up on me. Best to just block them and steer clear.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who said her name was Ann. She started off with the usual scammy chat, asking "Good morning Ma'am, how are you today?" Then mentioned something about my O2 contract... I didn’t hang around, I just blocked the number straight away!

Been getting calls from O2, trying to push me into upgrading when all I want is to keep things as they are. Feels like they’re ready to block my SIM just because I’m saying no to an upgrade. Really frustrating!

Just got hit with one of those sim swap scams, really dodgy stuff. Can't believe people still fall for it. Watch out, mate!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky, saying there was an internet issue. But I was on my mobile - how does that even make sense?

They rang me out of the blue, but I just ignored it and didn’t pick up.

They claimed to be calling on behalf of Sky, trying to snag my email and offering deals on mobile phone bills. There was a lot of background noise and the accent sounded like it was from outside the UK, probably some call centre abroad.

Got a ring from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she's from Sky. She asked if my service was alright and said she could sort me out with a 30% discount. Then she put me through to someone she called her supervisor… who basically just grabbed the phone from her. They wanted my email linked to the account, but I wasn’t having any of it. When she started with “listen…” I cut her off and told her to listen to me instead. I’m sure you can guess how it went after that!

Got a call from a woman claiming to be with Sky TV, asking for my personal info. She said it was about getting a ‘35% off my SIM monthly bill’ and needed my address to send a parcel. When I asked what was in the parcel, she said it was ‘discount paperwork’. I just gave a dodgy email and then she started swearing at me, so I just hung up straight away.

Claimed to be a representative from Sky TV. They requested my information under the guise of sending some ‘discounted documents’ through the post. I provided a made-up email address, and the woman on the other end called me a ‘complete moron’ for taking up her time.

My phone, which is on the TPS list, just got a random cold call that I didn’t pick up.
