9 yearsI've fallen victim to the same type of scam as mentioned earlier.9 yearsI recently received a call claiming there was a cheque for £2500 waiting for me, supposedly linked to a PPI claim for a credit card. I informed them that I’ve never held such a card. Then, they pivoted and said it was connected to a loan from yonks ago. They requested photographic identification and insisted that a solicitor would come by to deliver it. I explained that I had already reclaimed my PPI and the funds were previously deposited into my account, so I couldn't make another claim. I mentioned my strong suspicion that this call was a bit dodgy and not legitimate.9 yearsI’m a bit baffled by this number. My dad received a call from a woman named Carol Johnson, but she didn’t mention which company she was representing. She then directed us to this website: www.claimsregulations.gov.uk. Apparently, she informed my dad that he had a claim worth £5750! What’s more, she said a lady would pop round to our house with a cheque between four and half past, but first, he needed to fork out roughly £250 for a card and take it to Tesco for a stamp? Sounds rather suspicious, if you ask me! I reckon it might be some kind of scam.Carol JohnsonTesco9 yearsWhat a complete con! My dad received a call claiming he could get his hands on £5750. They said a woman named Carol Johnson would swing by our house between 4 and half-past with a cheque. However, he was told he first needed to purchase a card for around £250 and then obtain some sort of verification stamp from Tesco? It all sounds quite suspicious, doesn't it? This Carol had a very flat American accent, too. She even gave him this website: www.claimsregulations.gov.uk. Definitely dodgy!Carol JohnsonTescoCarol9 yearsA right dodgy operation, that! They’re nothing but a bunch of con artists, out to rob the unsuspecting. Just shameless!9 yearsAvoid letting any cash slip into the hands of these deceitful rogues! Take a moment and consider your actions before you find yourself ensnared by their tricks. I've fallen victim to them myself, and it’s not an experience I'd wish on anyone.9 yearsI’m attempting to uncover the identity and location of this individual.9 yearsAbsolutely zilch!9 yearsSeems like a dodgy scheme to me. They’re luring folks in with a tempting offer of a £2,500 reimbursement for erroneous bank fees. But guess what? They insist on having details from your driving licence or passport to process the claim! Total nonsense if you ask me.9 yearsI received a call that was quite the maze of a PPI scam. They kept going on about £3,500 owed to me, if only I could just jump through a few hoops, you know how it is.9 yearsI received a call claiming that their solicitor would be in touch regarding a cheque for three thousand pounds. However, the moment I mentioned that my son, who happens to be a police officer, would be present with me, they abruptly ended the conversation!9 yearsHad a call from PPI earlier, asking if I would be interested in picking up a £300 iTunes gift card. Quite the unexpected request, I must say!PPIiTunes9 yearsI tried ringing them back a couple of times, but each time they just ended the call.Submit Your Own Report (020 8123 1575)
