9 yearsI got ripped off just like that person mentioned above.9 yearsGot a call saying I had a cheque waiting for £2500 for some PPI compensation on a credit card. I told them I never had one of those, then they switched to saying it was about a loan from ages ago. They asked for a photo ID and mentioned sending a solicitor over to sort it out. I told them I'd already claimed and received the money before, so no way I could claim twice. I said I was pretty sure this was a scam call and ended it there.9 yearsI’m a bit baffled by this number. My dad received a call from a woman named Carol Johnson, but she didn’t mention which company she was representing. She then directed us to this website: www.claimsregulations.gov.uk. Apparently, she informed my dad that he had a claim worth £5750! What’s more, she said a lady would pop round to our house with a cheque between four and half past, but first, he needed to fork out roughly £250 for a card and take it to Tesco for a stamp? Sounds rather suspicious, if you ask me! I reckon it might be some kind of scam.Carol JohnsonTesco9 yearsTotally a SCAM! They called my dad saying he could get £5750. Then they said some woman would come to our home between 4 and 4:30 with a cheque, but first he had to purchase a card for around £250 and have it verified at Tesco?? Really suspicious. The woman introduced herself as Carol Johnson, spoke in a flat American accent, and even gave this website: www.claimsregualtions.gov.uk. Don't fall for this!Carol JohnsonTescoCarol9 yearsTotal con!
