Shortly after, I got an email expressing gratitude for my response and inquiring about a convenient time for another chat tomorrow (the original call came through at 8:40 in the evening). I found that rather peculiar as I’ve never encountered anyone asking for my availability like that; it's normally the other way round when they present you with their schedule.
