Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC and that if I didn’t ring them back, there’d be big trouble. Don’t fall for it and definitely don’t call them back!

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be HMRC warning me to ring them back or else there’d be legal trouble. Didn’t answer or call back, sounded dodgy and nothing like how HMRC would actually get in touch. Pretty sure it’s just a scam!

I got a voicemail from some officer named Laura Hawkins warning me not to ignore her message. She said if I didn’t ring them back or if my solicitor didn’t get in touch, I should be prepared for some kind of legal trouble. Felt a bit sketchy to me.
