I didn’t pick up the phone, but after reading the post from 23rd November, I’m pretty sure this is some sort of scam! Something really close to this happened to us and we ended up getting scammed out of more than £6000.

Yesterday I got a call from a bloke saying he worked for Coinbase Ireland Ltd. He told me I needed to set up a bank account so they could release some bitcoins supposedly held there. He made it sound legit enough to trust him. He asked me to download TeamViewer so he could access my computer remotely. I also ended up sending him photos of my ID and driving licence. Felt a bit off after thinking about it now.
