I picked up since they already had my number. Like with loads of scammy or telemarketer calls, you can hear a lot of chatter in the background, like from a bunch of people working in the same call centre annoying folks. They often mispronounce your name or just stick to your first name. When I answer, I just don’t say anything and they usually hang up. They don’t give up easy though, calling again and again. If lots of folks are flagging this number, do you think they might eventually shut it down or hit them with a big fine?

When I tried to find out who was calling, they just told me to **** off. The number was 02080977057.

That wasn’t really a Sky number, looks like they faked it to try and scam me! The person on the line was aiming to get my bank details.
